School Uniforms

The JoyKids uniform is more than just clothing—it is a symbol of belonging and an early lesson in discipline and pride.

By wearing our uniform, children cultivate a strong sense of unity and shared identity, reinforcing the positive community values we emphasise. This small, consistent routine helps establish the structure needed for effective learning, preparing our young students for future responsibilities with confidence and grace.

Schoolwear
Children are expected to wear the JoyKids school uniform during school hours. JoyKids provides functional and comfortable uniform sets for boys and girls for RM170/set.
Sportswear
There is also a separate P.E. Suit that children should wear during gym classes. The P.E. Suit is RM120/set.

Open Communication Channels

JoyKids International Preschool takes pride in our close-knit parent community. We work hard to achieve open two-way communication with parents and guardians.

Seesaw

JoyKids shares information with parents in several ways. Our learning app called Seesaw sends up-to-date info to parents on upcoming events and information on student activities. Parents also have the opportunity to chat with teachers and each other through the app. For more information on Seesaw click here.

Two Month Meeting

Parents and teachers meet face-to-face to discuss the child’s progress once every eight weeks. Teachers will discuss the progress the child is making toward achieving their goals. It is also a time when parents can ask questions. Our teachers work collaboratively with parents to make sure the child is comfortable at school and enjoys learning.

Moving to Malaysia

Malaysia is a multi-cultural country with a large variety of indoor and outdoor activities for children. Malaysia is experiencing a growing economy and has some beautiful family destinations a short drive or flight away. The school is situated in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with many families who have small children located nearby. There are several large shopping centres close by that contain indoor activities for children and sports clubs with various lessons available.

The quality of private health care available in Malaysia is equivalent to international standard and is relatively inexpensive. Housing and transportation quality contribute to a high standard of living in Malaysia which make it a very attractive destination for families. While Malaysians speak several languages, English is commonly spoken and people are very friendly and helpful. The weather is mainly hot and human all year round with average temperatures at about 30*C.

JoyKids’ welcoming community means that newcomers to Malaysia will be able to find support through new friends. The school staff is experienced when it comes to adjusting children to a new environment and will make every effort to ensure that children feel welcome and comfortable as they settle in.
